Formation 4-2-2

Hey guys,

As promised here is another formation which i would like to do.... the 4-2-2 formation  This formation is rather good when it comes to attacking but it may be rather vulnerable at the back, especially at the wings simply because the wide midfielders move forward leaving a huge space in the middle. Therefore, the full backs should be very good if the team wanna use this formation. As usual, i would name some player which 1 would like to place at the formation. I will start from the striking position a left-legged striker and a right-legged striker. For the left legged one, i would choose Robin Van Persie. While the right legged striker, i would chose Falcao. Both of them are good on the ball and are able to score from range and have an eye for goal. Next the four midfielders, i choose two attacking minded midfielders in the middle with two not so attacking and not so defending midfielders in the wing. For the 2 centre midfielders, i would choose Gerrard and Xavi, both can pass the ball well and can shoot from range and both can send good crosses intot he centre. For the wing midfielders, i would say Bale can be one of them. Having played as a defender before, he should know what to do when he needs to defend and he can score goals too,and he is one of the many young talents to look out for in future. The other wing midfielder is Ronaldo, which i think is one og the most complete midfielder one can ever find, although he might not be able to defend he can score goals and assist too, which may help a lot too. The full backs i would choose is Lahm and Ashley Cole. Both are the greatest full back at their respective countries while the two centre backs i would choose is Kompany and Vidic. All of the four defenders i choosen are all very good defenders and they can keep a soliod back line, which is what every manager one in a very good team. Lastly there is a weak link in this formation. the centre, cause nobody is there and the centre midfielders may move to the wing leaving the centre wide open for the opponent team to counter attack, hopefully i can find a way to counter that and i would tell u soon! :)
Thanks all for looking at this post today! :)

Uefa Champions League Final!!!

Hey Guys!

It has been quite a while since i last blogged about soccer,so i am gonna do one today and it is about the champions league final which ended last night. The team which won is Bayern Munchen, which i think was deserved winners having played pretty well for most of the game. Although my fav Bayern player Shaqiri(11) was not on the field i was still amazed by the passing abilities that the team have. I thought that only Spanish teams can pass the ball in a brilliant way. My man of the match will be Arjen Robben, even though he missed some clear cut chances in the first half, the goal he score was simply brilliant, the first touch by him was so good and his assist for the first goal was also very nice, the pass that went through the face of goal. I would also like to comment on another player which i think had an awesome first season at Bayern....Mario Mandžukić. He was the player who scored the first goal of the game and with 24 appearances for Bayern he has scored 15 goals. which is a pretty good record.( For those of you who dunno, his previous club is Wolfsburg) Lastly, i would like to say about the transfer of neymar from Santos to FC Barcelona. Personally i think that he is a little overrated but ht is a really brilliant player and he would fit Barcelona perfectly. He signed a five years contract and would join them after then confederation cup. And i guess the next time i am free, i will blog about the confederation cup and a new tatic. :)

 Hey guys,

No time to do a new tactic today so i will just give u my prediction for some of the matches this weekend

Fulham vs Arsenal 1-2 win for arsenal.Arsenal are in a good form for quite sometime, but i can see their defence being breached this weekend

Tottenham vs Man City 2-3 win for man city. Man city strikeforce is too good for tottenham but the recent defending by man city has bee poor so expect tottenham to score goals via Bale

Liverpool vs Chelsea 1-1 draw. Suarez might be the one scoring for liverpool and chelsea looks stable enough for a draw. And Benitez gets to go back to Anfield

So that is it from me today hopefully i have time tmr to blog about more soccer stuff.... until then... Goodbye!

The North London Clubs

Hey guys,

Like i said in my previous post that i would talk about a premier league club and it being a one man team and here it is,the team that i am talking about is Tottenham Hotspurs.(btw i support their rival.... The awesome ARSENAL FC!). The one man that i am talking about is none other than Gareth Bale which has been sensational this season. He scored 22 goals in 38 appereances. Many people has being going round saying that 'oh tottenham is a one man team' but i only agree to this to a small extend. You can say that he is the club top scorer(the next higher scorer is defoe with 14 goals) however tottenham has scored 78 goals in all competition ad bale only scored around 28% of the club's goal which is not a lot. And they have good strikers in adebayor and defoe, good midfielder in parker and Lennon and good defenders in Vertonghen. So they are not really a one man team and i think that Andre Villas Boas(AVB) has learnt from his lesson in chelsea which helps him in doing so well for tottenham this season.

On a seperate note, i would also like to talk a little but about my favourite club Arsenal FC. Of course arsenal being my favourite club, i know much more things about them than other clubs. I would like to talk about two legends today Thierry Henry and Robert Pires. First Henry with 175 goals in 258 appearaces, he is the top scorer for the club and looks like it will stay like that for quite some time, the next one pirez scored 62 goals in 189 appearances. This two legends played a vital role in arsenal's unbeaten season back in the 2003/2004 season. Henry is a striker which is really fast and he is tatically very brilliant and his free kick taking skill is really awesome and there is one goal he scored which i wat to share with you guys is the one against machester united back in the 2003/2004 season,it was a really nice goal and i have been trying to do it but of course i failed. Next is of course robert pires the free scoring midfielder, he scores as much goals as a striker does but he plays in a midfield position which is really cool!

That is it from me today, will think about what i formation i will blog about tmr..... Bye!

The 4-2-3-1 formation

Hey guys,

I would like to start off with a tactical post. I would like to share my favorite formation with you ad that is the  4-2-3-1 formation. It is used by the country i support which is Singapore. This formation provide stability in the midfield with 5 midfielders( 3 attacking and 2 defending).  The attacking midfielder is usually the provider for the team and a famous player which can play in that position is Santi Cazorla( which is my favourite player by the way) and he is very important as he must be able to provide passes to the side midfielders which will be easier for them to send crosses in. And two suitable players would be Messi and Ronaldo however players like Robben,Ribery and David Silva can be chosen too. Next i would move on to the center forward position, a formation like this needs a forward which is big, strong, can shoot really well and he must be able to head the ball well too. The person which really suits this position is Ibrahimovic! He can shoot well and he is strong and well build. Next i would like to move on to the final position i would like to talk about which is defensive midfielder. The two players which i can recommend is Schweinsteiger and Xabi Alonso. Both are great when it comes to passing and both are ridiculously good with their dribbling and they can do some defending work for their own club too, which is really nice to see in defensive midfielders( sometimes i see defensive midfielders which don't defend, which is not really pleasant)

That is it from me today my next post will be about a premier league club and it being a one man club.
