Formation 4-2-2

Hey guys,

As promised here is another formation which i would like to do.... the 4-2-2 formation  This formation is rather good when it comes to attacking but it may be rather vulnerable at the back, especially at the wings simply because the wide midfielders move forward leaving a huge space in the middle. Therefore, the full backs should be very good if the team wanna use this formation. As usual, i would name some player which 1 would like to place at the formation. I will start from the striking position a left-legged striker and a right-legged striker. For the left legged one, i would choose Robin Van Persie. While the right legged striker, i would chose Falcao. Both of them are good on the ball and are able to score from range and have an eye for goal. Next the four midfielders, i choose two attacking minded midfielders in the middle with two not so attacking and not so defending midfielders in the wing. For the 2 centre midfielders, i would choose Gerrard and Xavi, both can pass the ball well and can shoot from range and both can send good crosses intot he centre. For the wing midfielders, i would say Bale can be one of them. Having played as a defender before, he should know what to do when he needs to defend and he can score goals too,and he is one of the many young talents to look out for in future. The other wing midfielder is Ronaldo, which i think is one og the most complete midfielder one can ever find, although he might not be able to defend he can score goals and assist too, which may help a lot too. The full backs i would choose is Lahm and Ashley Cole. Both are the greatest full back at their respective countries while the two centre backs i would choose is Kompany and Vidic. All of the four defenders i choosen are all very good defenders and they can keep a soliod back line, which is what every manager one in a very good team. Lastly there is a weak link in this formation. the centre, cause nobody is there and the centre midfielders may move to the wing leaving the centre wide open for the opponent team to counter attack, hopefully i can find a way to counter that and i would tell u soon! :)
Thanks all for looking at this post today! :)
